The American Culinary Federation- Professional Chefs of New Hampshire was founded in 1979, and is one of 5 chapters in the state. In addition, there are more than 230 chapters in the United States.
Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, September through June. The monthly meeting is a culinary classroom where new ideas are shared and new contacts are made.
ACF membership is open to all who cook: line cooks, executive chefs, garde mangers, culinary educators, pastry chefs, corporate chefs and bakers. And, there are special categories of membership for junior members, retired culinarians and foodservice purveyors.
WHAT WE DO:
Through fundraising efforts, we contribute to area Culinary Arts programs offered at high school and college level. A scholarship program is made available to aspiring chefs.
Through the ACF, many levels of certification are available
Support is offered to members wishing to become certified.
